Cruise the night away on the MV Hogwash (yes, this really is its name) or MV Reo Moana (the literal translation is Talk of the Sea).The Harbour Cruise will take place on the evening of the first day of the convention (Thursday 14th September) at 7:00 pm
Jump on board The Red Boats and cruise the beautiful night lights and scenery of Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour from the open upper decks or from the comfort of the lower indoor area. Fully licensed bars are on board both vessels (but we have secured a deal where the first drink is free!). A BBQ, with a light dessert, will be served on board and is included.
Cruises depart from Pier Z Westhaven Marina 31 Westhaven Drive. It is about a 7-minute walk between the Victory Convention Centre and Pier Z
Owing to the huge interest in the Pan Pac contests, it is unfortunate that some quartet performances will clash with the timing of the Harbour Cruise. We will ensure that quartet members who wish to book the cruise will not be scheduled to perform at the same time.
Both the cruise boats will leave the wharf at 7:00 pm and guests are requested to be at the dockside, waiting to board by 6:45 pm at the latest. For the Fast & Furious aficionados who arrive a little late and think they can jump the gap between the wharf and the boat as it pulls away – best of luck!

A Note on Parking:Pay-by-plate parking is available at Pier Z. Parking costs $4 per hour or $32.00 for the day. Please pay attention to the signage to ensure you are parking in the correct area (white lines) and paying the correct fee. Further public car parking is available further along Westhaven Drive at NZ Marine between the white lines and is just a short 700m walk up to Pier Z, and this is free on weekends and Public Holidays. |
